Wonders is a musical journey to awe inspiring places on Planet Earth. The trio met on MySpace and became fans of each other's music but, ironically, have never met in person. All own private recording studios and exchange audio files via the internet. Lawler first suggested to Speer in the spring of 2008 that they collaborate on an album and several months later, with much of the album finished, Speer emailed some files to Satine Orient to see if she was inspired to compose and perform vocals. That led to vocal versions of two cuts on the previously all instrumental album.
